An entire generation of Cypriots have grown up apart in one of the longest standing frozen conflicts in the world. What do they think of each other? What are their hopes and dreams? What do they want for their future? For the first time ever, an island-wide research project has delved into these questions, resulting in a comprehensive overview of the views and attitudes of young Cypriots. “Voices of Tomorrow” follows the process and shows that despite their differences young Cypriots also have a lot in common and based on this, the young people invovled developed a “Youth Charter for Cyprus” in the hope that it will serve as a tool to further encourage and strengthen the role played by young Cypriots in peacebuilding and the future of their country.
